Restoration
Anyone can point a wall so it looks fine in week one. Whether it still looks fine in year fifteen comes down to how deep the joints were raked and whether the mortar was matched to the brick it sits against.

Why us
Anyone can lay a nice-looking top course. What decides whether it is still nice in fifteen years is the excavation, the compaction and the drainage nobody sees. We do not shorten that part to win a bid.
Old brick needs soft mortar. Using modern high-cement mix on a century home destroys the brick faces within a few years. We test and match rather than mixing one recipe for every house.
If a $600 crack injection solves your wet basement, we are not going to quote you an excavation. Our estimates list options cheapest-first with an honest note on what each will actually fix.
You meet the people who will do the work. We do not subcontract the trowel work out to whoever is available that week.

How it works
You will know what we found, what it costs and when we start — in writing, before anyone picks up a trowel.
Tell us what is going on. Photos from your phone are genuinely useful and often let us give a ballpark before we even visit.
We come out, inspect properly, and photograph what we find so you can see the problem yourself rather than taking our word for it.
A clear, itemised, no-obligation quote. Options listed cheapest-first, with what is urgent separated from what can wait a season.
A firm start date, protected work area, daily cleanup, and a final walkthrough with you before the invoice goes out.
Reviews
Every review below is from a real job in a real neighbourhood — most within ten minutes of each other.
“They installed a stone fireplace for us and the quality of the work was outstanding. The price was fair and they finished when they said they would. We have had three neighbours ask who did it.”
“The stone walkway was applied so evenly. You can tell the difference between someone who does this properly and someone who just lays stone. Excellent workmanship.”
“Very satisfied with the brick restoration. They matched our original brick better than I thought was possible and cleaned up the site every single day.”
“Detail oriented from start to finish. They repointed the front elevation and rebuilt the chimney, and left the job site cleaner than they found it.”
“Quality work, done right. Our front steps and porch have never looked better. Highly recommend to anyone in Cambridge.”

FAQ
Anything not covered here, just ask when you call.
No. Estimates are free, written, and come with photos of what we found. There is no obligation and we do not do high-pressure follow-up calls.
Yes — fully insured with WSIB coverage on every crew member. We will send you certificates before work starts, without being asked.
Small repairs can often be fit in within a week or two. Larger builds in peak season (May–September) typically book 3–6 weeks out. Chimney and water-related emergencies get prioritised.
Interior work, fireplaces and emergency repairs run year-round. Exterior mortar work stops when sustained temperatures drop below about 5°C, because mortar cured in the cold does not reach strength.
Ten years on workmanship, plus whatever the manufacturer provides on materials. It is in writing on every contract.
Usually. Between salvage yards, discontinued stock and modern reproductions we get very close. We bring samples to your wall in daylight before ordering.
Send a few photos from your phone. We can usually tell you what is going on — and a ballpark cost — before we even come out.
