Interlock, flagstone and precast steps set on a base that survives Ontario freeze-thaw.
The front steps are the first thing a visitor touches. We build them level, consistent in rise, and on a base deep enough that they are still level in ten winters. Same principle for walkways and patios — the base is the job.

How we approach it
Excavate
Dig to proper depth for the application — deeper than most contractors quote for.
Compact
Granular base placed in lifts and plate-compacted, then screeded bedding sand.
Lay
Units set to pattern, cut cleanly at the edges, restrained on all open sides.
Seal
Polymeric sand swept and set, optional sealer applied once fully cured.

Small repairs can often be fit in within a week or two. Larger builds in peak season (May–September) typically book 3–6 weeks out. Chimney and water-related emergencies get prioritised.
